ExceedAbility is a Sydney-based digital accessibility consultancy created by Simon Dakin. We are former colleagues who spent over a decade working together within the NSW Government, building the skills and frameworks that now underpin everything we deliver.

Simon Dakin
Co-founder & Project and Web Lead
- Expert in usability, web accessibility, and digital inclusion with over 15 years of experience
- Specialises in testing methodologies, accessibility audits, and strategy development for inclusive design
- Recent engagement as Web and Intranet Project Manager at Landcom, leading design and implementation of a new SharePoint intranet Hub site
- Experienced in SharePoint architecture, Microsoft 365, and project delivery for government and enterprise
Greg Thompson
Application & Security Lead
- Over 20 years of experience in application development, backend infrastructure administration, and systems architecture
- Microsoft technology expert across Azure, Microsoft 365, SharePoint, and enterprise platform integration
- Security specialist covering application security, data protection frameworks, and compliance with Australian privacy and security standards
- Privacy expert with deep knowledge of the Australian Privacy Act, data governance, and secure-by-design development practices
